Job Title: Cloud Architect (Quickbase Specialist) Location: Denton, TX Note: Local preferred Retail domain is must. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with strong Quickbase experience to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architecture, application development, and database management within Quickbase and other cloud environments. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-based architectures and solutions leveraging Quickbase and other cloud platforms. Develop, customize, and optimize Quickbase applications, including workflow automation, integration, and database management. Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. Lead migration and integration projects, connecting Quickbase with third-party applications and enterprise systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Establish best practices for cloud security, data governance, and application performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud environments and Quickbase applications. Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and development. Strong expertise in Quickbase , including application development, API integrations, and workflow automation. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proficiency in database management, scripting, and automation (e.g., SQL, JavaScript, Python). Hands-on experience with system integrations using RESTful APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. Strong understanding of cloud security, data privacy, and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Quickbase certification or cloud-related certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or BI tools.
