http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2217343&uid= Job Title: Java Developer Location: North Phoenix, Arizona ( day 1 onsite, hybrid ) Duration: Long term contract The needs are the same as before: The initiative I need a resource for has to do with upgrading our application stack - Spring boot upgrades, java upgrades from 8 to newer versions, new API development, some UI development, migration to serverless. If the resource works out well, we have other pieces lined up for serverless development for afterwards. Here are the requirements- The work would mostly be offshore hours with a few designated hours a week for coordination with the onsite team. Tech side Essentials Core java - some core concepts + java8+ related features e.g streams, messaging. Spring/Spring boot - config mgmt., DI, aspects, other core Spring capabilities - e.g., JPA, Rest api concepts, Authentication, json handling, caching etc. Databases - hands on with Ansi sql. Testing - Unit testing concepts, integration testing, assertion libraries etc. Diagnostics & Observability - Tracing and related diagnostics, heap/memory issues. AWS essentials - firewalls/security groups, EC2, ALBs, subnets, IAM etc. Nice to have: UI development using React Other AWS services - API Gateway, other integration services like SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, AWS lambda. Infra as code - cloud formation/CDK concepts.
