Finance Experience: Demonstrated experience working within the financial services sector is essential. Minimum of 10+ years in general database administration (implementation, code deployments, backups, and user account creation). At least 7+ years as a SQL Server DBA with 5+ years focusing on advanced platform features ( clustering, encryption, standby configurations, ETL, replication, and performance optimization ). Proven track record in administering databases with sizes of 30TB or larger is absolutely required. Proficient with MS SQL Server 2014 through 2019 , including SSIS package creation and debugging, stored procedure development/tuning, and data replication techniques. Extensive experience in Level 3 (highest level) support within a banking environment (at least 4+ years since 2016 ). Adept at using performance tools (e.g., Profiler traces, sp_BlitzIndex, DMV queries ) and skilled in both SQL development and troubleshooting.
