Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Location: Atlanta, GA, Visa: USC, GC only MOI: Skype Rate: $55/hr c2c Only TOP 2 profile Job details : Qualifications & Responsibilities Required Skills: Manage and optimize data streaming and API components in OpenShift (On-Prem) and AWS. Improve application API response times through proactive analysis and optimization. Automate testing, production delivery, and deployment processes. Develop integrations between on-premise applications, AWS, and third-party tools (ServiceNow, VersionOne, Sumo). Establish and monitor SLI/SLOs and troubleshoot performance issues. Enhance cloud infrastructure through experimentation with emerging technologies. Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for API and data process job deployments. Implement monitoring and alerting metrics for proactive issue resolution. Maintain data security using AWS security tools (HSM, IAM, etc.). Monitor AWS billing, generate cost reports, and develop cost optimization strategies. Work with enterprise security teams to implement encryption, key management, and security measures. Regularly analyze and optimize infrastructure capacity and performance. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with teams to improve design, performance, and security. Desired Skills: Strong knowledge of AWS cloud operations. Experience with automation and scripting tools (OpenShift CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, , Python). Understanding of infrastructure layers (Linux OS, virtualization, networking, load balancers, firewalls, APIs, monitoring, storage, backup strategies). Expertise in enterprise system operations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Experience in CI/CD automation (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Nexus). Software release management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Computer Science or a related technical field. Senior SRE Role Overview: As a Senior SRE, you will be responsible for developing Chaos Engineering solutions and supporting high-availability, business-critical applications. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS, DevOps, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You will also integrate open-source tools into enterprise architecture and ensure compliance with security protocols. This role serves as an escalation point for complex issues across both on-premise and AWS environments.
