The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud, PL/SQL, Microservices, Spring Boot, and Java 11. This hybrid role requires a developer who can work effectively in a day shift and does not require travel. The candidate will contribute to the development of geospatial applications that will have a significant impact on our company's success and societal benefits. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot. - Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency of geospatial applications. - Utilize AWS Cloud services to deploy and manage geospatial applications. - Write and optimize PL/SQL queries for geospatial data processing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geospatial solutions. - Ensure the security and integrity of geospatial data within the applications. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial applications. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development and cloud computing. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in geospatial development. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements. Qualifications: - Possess a strong background in Java 11 and Spring Boot development. - Have extensive experience with AWS Cloud services for application deployment and management. - Demonstrate proficiency in writing and optimizing PL/SQL queries. - Show expertise in implementing microservices architecture. - Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Have excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends. - Experience with geospatial data and applications is highly desirable. - Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
