Job Description: Senior Hybris Developer (Full-Stack) Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 9 Months (Contract) Start Date: March 24, 2025 Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hybris Developer to join our team in Minneapolis. This role demands a strong full-stack developer with extensive experience in Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud), Java, Ruby on Rails, and Angular. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing e-commerce solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications. Responsibilities: Hybris Development: Develop and maintain e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), leveraging its core functionalities and customization capabilities. Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and enhance software solutions using Java for backend logic and Ruby on Rails and Angular for user interface development. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for Java web applications. API Integration: Develop and consume SOAP Web services and REST APIs in the Java platform. Hybris Administration: Utilize the Hybris Admin Management console for system configuration and maintenance. Coding & Testing: Write efficient and well-structured code, perform unit testing, and debug applications to ensure quality and reliability. Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and system administrators to integrate applications and support system integration, data migration, and software deployment activities. Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, coding standards, and user manuals. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address potential risks or issues related to Java web applications and propose appropriate solutions. Project Management: Manage workload and ensure that projects are completed on time. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of overall software development experience. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) developer. Minimum 1 year of experience with Ruby on Rails and Angular development. Strong understanding of Java programming concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Extensive experience with Java development tools, such as Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA. Experience with Hybris Admin Management console. Proficiency in consuming SOAP Web services and REST APIs in Java. Understanding of software version control systems, such as Git or Subversion. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. Proven ability to lead team and deliver projects on time.
