From: Manish Kumar, scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Informatica IICS Developer Location: Raleigh NC/ Phoenix AZ(Onsite) Job Type: Contract Job Discerption: Responsibilities : Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IBM InfoSphere DataStage for data integration, transformation, and loading. Work with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and ensure the successful integration of data from multiple sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines, ensuring the efficient movement and transformation of data across various platforms. Develop complex mappings, transformations, and workflows to meet business needs and ensure high-quality data processing. Perform performance tuning on ETL jobs and optimize the overall data flow. Work with data quality tools to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and completeness of data being transferred and transformed. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring that ETL jobs run smoothly and on time. Perform unit testing, data validation, and debugging to ensure the quality of data in the ETL pipelines. Maintain and update ETL documentation, including workflows, mappings, and data transformation logic. Collaborate with database administrators and other team members to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of ETL development processes and methodologies. Essential Skills : Over 10 years of experience as an Informatica and DataStage developer. Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. Extensive experience with ETL design and development, including complex data transformations, mappings, and workflows. Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Experience with performance tuning of ETL processes and optimizing large-scale data transformations. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data validation, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Experience with data integration, data migration, and data synchronization processes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Desirable Skills : Experience with other ETL tools like Talend, Ab Initio, or Apache Nifi. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with Data Quality and Master Data Management concepts. Experience working with Agile or Scrum development methodologies. Ability to work on large-scale data environments, managing complex ETL pipelines and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications : Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter and IBM InfoSphere DataStage development.
