Our client, a major Asset Manager, currently manages approximately $150 billion in assets for institutional investors and other entities across the globe. Role Our Investments team (largely focused on Fixed Income) has been growing steadily both in terms of assets under management and complexity. To maximize our ability to add value and partner in the growth of our business, the Client Reporting team is undergoing an overhaul to modernize, automate and enhance our firms reporting platform. Were investing in the future of our firm to create efficiencies, output and to improve the overall client experience This role will report to and work closely with the Head of Business Services and partner with the existing reporting and client service teams to help define changes and integration points with other support teams. We are seeking an individual with a solid understanding and experience of Fixed Income Client Reporting and related systems. Someone who will be able to apply these skills appropriately to an organization with the size and scale of this major Asset Manager. Responsibilities Actively participate in all phases of the reporting process.Play a key role in idea/enhancement generation while challenging the conventional view constructively and respectfully to influence the direction of progress. Support all aspects of the existing BAU environment Foster cooperative environment and work with team meeting existing requirements while laying the foundation for future improvements Run monthly and quarterly reports from various data sources to help assist in the reporting packages Produce/Create key artifacts that are critical to the documentation and organization of the existing reporting process Engage Client Service team to understand and consolidate data requests and new initiatives Participate in analysis of our reporting platform for comparison to industry standards and best practice Trouble shoot errors in existing platform and ad hoc requests Day to Day liaison with HBS, data, investment teams & technology groups Requirements / Skills 3+ years of recent experience in Asset Management (Buy Side) Reporting in a similar role Proficiency with creating reporting packages and bringing together data from various sources in an accurate and timely way Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Experience and comfort dealing directly with Clients, Investment Teams, and other senior stakeholders Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work in a team environment Highly organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask and problem solve Fair understanding of Fixed income portfolio characteristics and key reporting data points Ability to use multiple sources to verify transaction details, holdings attributes, and other activities Knowledge of a broad range of asset classes (Govt, Muni, Mortgage, Corporate, Loans) Keywords: active directory New Jersey Business Analyst [email protected] |
