Perform comprehensive ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading across different stages of the ETL pipeline. Conduct Data Warehouse testing to ensure that the data models, reporting, and analytical capabilities meet business requirements. Validate data migration and data transformation processes, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness. Perform data reconciliation between source systems and target data warehouse systems to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to resolve issues related to data transformations, data mapping, and data integrity. Execute regression testing to ensure data workflows and transformations are functioning as expected after updates or changes. Review and analyze test results, identify discrepancies, and work with the development team to resolve issues. Develop and implement automated test scripts for ETL and Data Warehouse testing, where applicable. Ensure compliance with quality standards, methodologies, and best practices in data testing. Track and report testing progress and results, providing detailed status updates to stakeholders. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure data is accurate and aligned with business expectations. Provide feedback and insights on data issues, offering solutions and workarounds where necessary. Essential Skills: Over 10 years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing. Strong experience in testing ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or similar). Proficiency in validating data migration, data reconciliation, and data integration processes between source systems and target systems (Data Warehouses). In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and Business Intelligence (BI) testing. Experience with Data Migration Testing, ensuring smooth data transfer across systems without loss of data integrity. Knowledge of SQL for data validation, queries, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Data Quality frameworks, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness of data. Experience in creating and executing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for ETL processes. Ability to use data profiling tools for data quality analysis. Knowledge of various testing methods (manual and automated) for Data Warehouse testing. Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business teams. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in a testing environment. Desirable Skills: Experience with BI Testing tools such as OBIEE, Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiarity with data integration technologies like API testing, web services testing, or microservices testing. Experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete for ETL testing. Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehousing platforms like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. Experience with data security and compliance testing (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Over 10 years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing. Proven track record of testing data migration, data integration, and ETL processes in large-scale data environments.
