Role: Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead Location: Dallas, TX, United States About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and expertise on large-scale transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter V8-V9, strong integration skills, and a proven track record of leading successful implementations and upgrades. You will be responsible for providing technical oversight, ensuring performance optimization, and driving DevOps automation initiatives within the Guidewire PolicyCenter tech stack. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide technical oversight and solution overview for the PolicyCenter tech stack. Establish, refine, and govern PolicyCenter standards across the portfolio. Lead complex PolicyCenter upgrades and implementations. Serve as the technology leader on large and complex transformation programs. Guidewire Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter V8-V9. Configure and develop PolicyCenter functionalities, including GX modeling, workflows, and batch processes. Utilize strong Gosu integration experience to enhance system functionality. Experience with Edge APIs. Integration and Performance: Lead the integration of PolicyCenter with other systems (WMB, ETL, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues. Monitor and fine-tune performance for the PolicyCenter tech stack, with a focus on integration performance. Experience with XML technologies (XSD, XPath). DevOps and Automation: Implement and promote DevOps and automation approaches to support PolicyCenter initiatives. Utilize GIT source code repository and build automation tools (Concourse). API Design: Design and develop APIs, preferably with experience in Guidewire Edge APIs. Certification and Mentorship: Maintain relevant Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter Developer, Rating, Edge API, BillingCenter, and Senior Tech Lead). Mentor and guide junior developers and team members. Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter. Extensive experience with PolicyCenter V8 and V9. Strong integration experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and other systems. Proven experience in leading complex PolicyCenter upgrades and implementations. Deep understanding of Gosu, XML (XSD, XPath), batch processes, GX modeling, and workflows. Experience with performance tuning, especially for integrations. Knowledge of GIT source code repository and build automation tools (Concourse). Experience with DevOps and automation practices. API design and development experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
