Role: Teradata SME Location: Middletown, PA - Onsite Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Teradata SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Teradata database management and will be responsible for providing technical leadership, strategic direction, and expert guidance on Teradata-related projects. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide expert knowledge and insights on Teradata database management and optimization. Project Support: Assist in the development, review, and approval of project documentation, training content, and process improvements. Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of Teradata-related content and solutions. Process Improvement: Identify potential areas for process improvement and suggest changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to share knowledge and best practices. Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Teradata technology and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes. Customer Support: Address specific queries and provide guidance based on expert knowledge of Teradata. Qualifications: Experience: Extensive experience working with Teradata databases, including design, implementation, and optimization. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data warehousing concepts. Strong experience in using data base metadata generate audit reports on all object count including, Tables, Views, BTEQ Scripts Ability to Understand Complex BTEQ Scripts and Document them Ability to Convert Teradata BTEQ Scripts to Standard SQL which could run in BigQuery Review the Converted Code Optimize the Converted Standard SQL code for BigQuery Optimize the BigQuery tables for better Query Performance Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively share knowledge and collaborate with team members. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
