Job Title : SQL DBA with LifePro exp is must Location : Madison, WI (Remote) Duration: Long Term Experience level : 10+ years Job Description: Must have 10+ years SQL Server DBA working experience with SQL Server. Must have experience in LifePro Must be knowledgeable and experienced on the different versions of SQL Server (2005, 2008). Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and possible benefits to the existing environments. Must have skills and experience in Database data management backups, ETL, and archive using either native SQL Server backup tools. Experienced using internal diagnostic and maintenance tools such as DBCC and internal SP functions as well as SQLDiag, SQL Profiler and third party diagnostics tools. Demonstrate Knowledge of Partitioning Architecture. Management of multiple processing schedules and notification strategies. Strong skills in T-SQL, DOS, Power, tuning and debugging. Experience with SQL Server Manager, Visual Studio, DTS/SSIS and other SQL Server tools including but not limited to Profiler & SQL Server Command Line Utilities Experience with SQL Server database replication and mirroring Experienced in security/access strategies for a wide pool of user groups and developers with different access requirements. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines Ability to prioritize heavy workload with minimum supervision. Highly adaptable with ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applications. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions. Not Required, but Preferred: Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or higher certificates on SQL Server 2005, 2005, 2012. Experience in data modeling and metadata management.
