Job Title: Senior Backend Consultant (Platform Team) Employment Type: Contract Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) USC OR GC Only **They need to currently live in Cleveland Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Platform Team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full stack development with a strong focus on DevOps backend development. This role involves working with various technologies and tools to support and enhance our platform infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on DevOps. Work with databases such as Snowflake and MongoDB; experience with Kong is preferred. Utilize Azure for cloud services, and manage infrastructure with Helm and Terraform. Use GitHub for code repository management. Implement and innovate JenkinsX pipelines. Develop and maintain APIs for other product teams. Work with Java Spring Boot for backend development. Implement and manage observability tools such as Grafana and Azure Observability. Utilize data transformation tools effectively. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to patterns and setup. Qualifications: Proven experience in full stack development with a focus on backend DevOps. Strong knowledge of Snowflake, MongoDB, and Kong (preferred). Experience with Azure, Helm, and Terraform. Proficiency in using GitHub for code management. Hands-on experience with JenkinsX pipelines. Strong understanding of API development and integration. Experience with Java Spring Boot. Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana and Azure Observability. Experience with data transformation tools. Ability to participate in architectural discussions and contribute to patterns and setup. Preferred Qualifications: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
