Hi, Title : Senior AWS engineer Location : Atlanta GA (onsite) (Local preferred) Duration : 6+ months Job Description Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC. Automation and Orchestration- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure as code. Monitoring and Logging - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance. Security and Compliance - Implement best practices for security and compliance, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security to protect data and applications. Performance Optimization - Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost, making recommendations for improvements and scaling as needed. Collaboration - Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure. Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Skills - Proficiency in Terraform scripting. Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and Google Cloud. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power. Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. Certifications AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
