Preferred Qualifications: Experience in development (e.g., software engineering, application development) with a desire to pivot into application security. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to developers in a way thats understandable and actionable. Ability to advocate for security needs while understanding the pressures and objectives of development teams. Knowledge of cloud-based application security, ideally in Azure. Familiarity with secure coding practices and the ability to assist developers in following these practices. Experience interacting with developers in a collaborative and effective manner. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of application security, with a passion for improving security in software development.
