Role :: Enterprise Architect with SAP, Databricks, AKS Location :: Remote East Coast only resources, Greater Atlanta, GA) Duration :: Contract Job Title: Enterprise Architect SAP, Databricks, AKS (Remote East Coast only resources, Greater Atlanta, GA) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive technology strategy, solution development, and architectural best practices across a global IT landscape. This role will focus on ERP systems (SAP), cloud transformation, and data architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams to modernize enterprise technology stacks. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Business, or a related field. Minimum 15+ years of progressive IT experience with a significant recent expertise on providing Enterprise architectural solutions spanning business, data, application, and technology disciplines. Experience designing solutions for on-prem and hybrid cloud environments (Microsoft Azure). Expertise in SAP, Enterprise Architecture, Databricks, and AKS. Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, and finance. Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Technology Strategy & Governance o Advocate for reusable technologies, solutions, and patterns across global and regional IT teams. o Ensure seamless integration of regional requirements into global solution development roadmaps. o Lead Enterprise Architecture (EA) best practices, principles, and reference patterns. Enterprise & Solution Architecture o Maintain a thought leadership perspective on emerging technologies and provide expert guidance. o Engage stakeholders including IT Business Relationship Managers, Business Development teams, and Solution Architects. o Define architecture vision and strategy for new technology introduction. o Conduct initial architecture assessments, high-level designs (HLD), and proof-of-concepts (POCs) before handing off to Solution Architects for low-level design (LLD). o Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings for technology approvals. Cloud & Data Modernization o Lead the modernization of O9 on-premise systems to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). o Participate in Databricks modeling, analysis, and simulations of complex systems and scenarios. Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work with Global & Regional IT teams to align business and technology goals. o Influence executive leadership and key stakeholders on technology strategy, costs, benefits, and trade-offs. o Drive the evaluation and onboarding of new technologies, including POCs and MVPs.
