About the job

Our client is rolling out a new program centered around ServiceNow, their major platform. Having undergone multiple rebuilds, they are working to enhance its usability, remove unnecessary customizations, and align it more closely with out-of-the-box functionality. A key initiative in this effort is the implementation of CMDB, allowing for better asset management and integration with their technology ecosystem.

We are seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst with a process improvement mindset to help drive these changes strategically. This role requires someone who can assess the current state, identify areas for improvement, and work closely with stakeholders to optimize workflows and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Face off with business stakeholders to understand current state processes, document, and help design future state processes.

Lead ServiceNow process improvement initiatives and provide strategic recommendations.

Evaluate existing workflows and assist in removing unnecessary customizations to create a more streamlined, user-friendly platform.

Support the rollout of CMDB, ensuring smooth asset management integration.

Analyze and troubleshoot ServiceNow struggles, including work groups, assignments, and approvals.

Collaborate with technical teams to review tickets, prioritize changes, and advocate for necessary enhancements.

Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on improvements.

Qualifications

Strong ServiceNow experience, particularly in workflow optimization and process redesign

Strong BA skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to look at the big picture as it relates to the ServiceNow platform and underlying processes

Experience with CMDB highly preferred

Strong communicator who can work closely with both business and technical teams and advocate for best practices.

Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail

Ability to negotiate and influence tactfully

High energy, proactive, and friendly personality.
