Job Description: Medical device Test Engineer Location: Cambridge, MA - Onsite 6-12 months Role: We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Test Engineer with experience in HL7/FHIR medical device interfacing, embedded medical device testing, and Microsoft Windows operating systems to join fast-moving software test engineering team testing best-in-class Healthcare Informatics and Patient Monitoring solutions. The candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of developing functional test suites, and possess strong communication skills. Desired qualifications include proficiency in testing real-time distributed client-server applications, TCP/IP communication protocols, and Software as a Medical Device. Requirements: Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario with particular focus on the development and execution of comprehensive test scripts or protocols and defect (failure mode) detection Develop functional test suites and test documentation / concepts Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems Experience with embedded medical device testing Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with investigating software defects using solving skills and trouble shooting Self-starter, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies Experienced of TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Good understanding of the V-model, (Requirements analysis, functional analysis, functional vs non-functional requirements, component analysis) Web applications testing FDA Regulations Experience in API and Micro Services testing Experience with all aspects of Azure DevOps software development platform, (Boards for work tracking, Test Plans for testing, Traceability between Requirements and Test Tases, and understanding of Defect tracking and disposition. Proficient testing of highly critical real-time large-scale distributed client-server applications (preferably healthcare) Proficient in server/client base applications and environment in Windows environment setup and testing Proficient in testing TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP communication protocols Experience in testing Software as a Medical device Experience with embedded medical device testing Experience with all aspects of Azure DevOps software development platform, (Boards for work tracking, Test Plans for testing, Traceability between Requirements and Test Tases, and understanding of Defect tracking and disposition. 5 - Azure DevOps for Testing 5 - Networking fundamentals Candidate should have experience: 1.
