This role will involve managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance with company policies, tracking and optimizing asset usage, and supporting the overall IT infrastructure management strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT asset management, business analysis, and experience in the banking or financial services industry. Key Responsibilities : IT Asset Management : Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and network components from procurement to decommissioning. Ensure accurate tracking and inventory management of IT assets using ITAM tools and systems. Develop and maintain asset management documentation, including asset tracking, reporting, and audits. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for asset management. Work with the IT procurement team to evaluate and procure IT assets. Business Analysis : Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to IT asset management processes. Create business process models and workflows to streamline asset management operations. Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost optimization strategies. Assist in the implementation of IT asset management solutions, including software tools and platforms. Reporting & Documentation : Generate reports and dashboards to track asset lifecycle, inventory status, and compliance metrics. Prepare regular status updates and communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to management and key stakeholders. Document business requirements, functional specifications, and system enhancements related to asset management. Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding the tracking, usage, and disposal of IT assets. Participate in audits to ensure IT asset records and systems are accurate and aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with IT security teams to address risks associated with asset vulnerabilities and end-of-life products. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with IT infrastructure teams, project managers, and business units to ensure alignment between IT asset management and organizational goals. Provide training and guidance on asset management best practices and tools to business and technical users. Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users, ensuring that asset management processes are understood and followed. Qualifications : Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, or business analysis. Previous experience working with banking or financial services clients is highly preferred. Experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, etc.) and asset tracking systems. Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices for asset management. Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of industry standards for IT asset management, including software license compliance and regulatory requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools. Certifications (preferred): ITIL Foundation or similar certifications in IT asset management or business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA). Certified in IT Asset Management (e.g., Certified Asset Management Professional - CAMP). Additional Skills : Experience in process automation and optimization using relevant tools or platforms. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
