Received resumes are more traditional DevOps. The focus is on the data side, requiring expertise in data/SQL and DevOps, particularly in setting up infrastructure with Snowflake, Databricks, and Data Factory. New project developing, no information on it yet. Technology Requirements: Must-Haves: Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC). Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Power BI. Building CI/CD pipelines. Batch processing. SQL proficiency (7/8 ranking). Snowflake. Candidate must be hybrid in Columbus. Good-to-Haves: Python/PySpark (nice to have, but must understand the code). Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to identify necessary resources and automate their provisioning through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Write custom code or scripts to automate common tasks, infrastructure management, monitoring services, and test cases. Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise data management solutions. Create meaningful dashboards for logging, alerting, and responding to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support during and after business hours. Proactively review the performance and capacity of all production aspects, including code, infrastructure and data. Drive the long-term technical strategy of the team, with a focus on scalable and resilient architecture. Make recommendations and implement cost-saving strategies for cloud resources. Engage in learning activities related to modern cloud architecture and core design and development practices (communities of practice). Enhance business acumen by learning about other areas of the business. Qualifications Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager. Proficient in source code management tools like GitHub and build automation platforms, including Azure DevOps. Knowledgeable in the Azure ecosystem, particularly with Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL Server. Expert in SQL and SQL-based languages, with a strong focus on performance tuning for SQL queries. Good to have experience with ETL/ELT concepts for data integration, consolidation, enrichment, and aggregation, particularly with petabyte-scale datasets. Familiar with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Power Automate Workflows. Excellent communication skills across various mediums, enabling the creation of compelling messages to drive action and alignment.
