Work Mode: 50% onsite, hybrid working arrangement. Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer to help design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with trading systems, specifically within the financial domain (Rates, Credit, FX, or Equities). You will collaborate with quants, traders, and other developers to deliver optimal solutions for trading strategies while ensuring low-latency, high-throughput performance. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain high-performance trading applications using C++. Develop and optimize algorithms for trading strategies. Collaborate with quants, traders, and developers to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions. Perform performance analysis and optimize systems for low-latency and high-throughput. Integrate trading platforms with market data feeds, order management systems, and risk management tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trading systems and infrastructure. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in trading technology. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Extensive experience in C++ development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Proven experience in trading technology, preferably within Rates, Credit, FX, or Equities. Strong knowledge of low-latency programming, multi-threading, and performance optimization. Familiarity with financial markets, trading algorithms, and electronic trading platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Important Notes: This position is only open to candidates local to New York, as relocation will not be considered. Hybrid work model: 50% onsite required.
