Job Title: Salesforce Automation Tester Contract Role only USC GC GCEAD H4EAD Hybrid at CO Relocation works MUST HAVE ANY SALESFORCE CERTIFICATION Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce implementations by applying test automation best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, Salesforce testing tools, and Agile methodologies. The Salesforce Automation Tester will be responsible for building automated test scripts, testing Salesforce functionalities, and ensuring high-quality performance in both the Sales and Service Cloud environments. Familiarity with tools like Selenium WebDriver, API testing, and GitLabCI is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Automated Test Script Development : Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, focusing on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Test Automation Frameworks : Build out and maintain test automation frameworks, specifically using Selenium WebDriver, API Restful Web Services, and related languages such as Java, Python, and SF CLI. API Testing : Perform REST/SOAP API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and similar tools to validate API functionality and integrations. Continuous Integration/Deployment : Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, using GitLab and Copado to facilitate automation and deployments. Test Coverage & Documentation : Ensure coverage across smoke, functional, regression, and integration testing. Document test cases, results, and any issues found. Database Testing : Utilize your proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases to conduct database-level validations. Agile Methodologies : Work within Agile or Scrum development methodologies to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance within sprint cycles. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective test planning and execution. Salesforce Knowledge : Leverage your experience with the Salesforce Core Platform, including Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft integrations to design relevant test cases. Enhancement of Testing Processes : Continuously identify areas of improvement in the testing process and suggest new tools, techniques, or approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience : 3-5 years of experience in designing and executing automated tests for Salesforce applications, specifically for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Test Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, API Restful Web Services (Java, Python, SF CLI), and scripting languages (e.g., Power, JavaScript/Node.js). API Testing : Familiarity with REST/SOAP API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI. CI/CD & Version Control : Experience with GitLab and Copado to automate testing and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Database Testing : Strong proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases. Salesforce Expertise : Technical experience in implementing and supporting Salesforce applications, including the Core Platform, Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft. Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams. Automation Frameworks : Experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Provar Framework is a plus. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce Certifications : Preferred Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Platform Developer I.
