From: vishal, sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] : Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager 100% Onsite (San Bernardino County, CA) Location: 100% Onsite San Bernardino, CA Employment Type: Contract 3 months (Possible Extension) Position Overview: The County of San Bernardinos Innovation and Technology Department (ITD) is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects, including network, storage, cloud (Azure), and telecom. This role will ensure projects assigned by the Project Management Office (PMO) are successfully executed from inception to closure. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project plans, RAID logs, RASCI matrices, charters, meeting minutes, action items, and risk/issue logs. Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with the PMO, IT leadership, and technical teams to provide accurate project status updates, dashboards, and reports. Project Tracking & Governance: Ensure adherence to recognized project management standards, tracking tasks, deliverables, and financials. Infrastructure & IT Management: Manage projects involving networking, storage, cloud (Azure), and telecom technologies. Collaboration & Leadership: Lead project teams, facilitate team meetings, and engage with key stakeholders to gather project details and align deliverables. Process Improvement: Develop, define, and maintain project plans and documentation to ensure efficiency, standardization, and effective communication across teams. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Manager leading infrastructure-focused IT projects (network, storage, cloud, telecom). Strong understanding of Cloud Platforms especially Microsoft Azure. Experience managing enterprise IT projects within a PMO framework. Expertise in documentation and reporting tools (RAID logs, RASCI, dashboards, status reports, charters, etc.). Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams, vendors, and leadership. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Strong communication and leadership skills to drive collaboration and transparency. Ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and deliver executive-level reporting. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly preferred. Experience in government or public sector IT projects. ITIL or Agile certification a plus. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or other project tracking tools.
