Job Title: C++ Developer with Linux expertise Location: Onsite Manassas VA- onsite Contract : Long term Job Description: We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer with Linux expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C++ and extensive experience working with Linux-based environments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain C++ applications for Linux-based systems. Optimize and enhance existing code for performance and scalability. Work with system libraries and APIs to integrate various software components. Debug and troubleshoot issues in Linux environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Ensure software quality through code reviews and automated testing. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17/20). Experience with Linux system programming and development. Familiarity with multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning. Proficiency with scripting, Makefiles, and debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind, etc.). Experience with networking protocols, IPC mechanisms, and system calls. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Preferred Skills: Experience with Boost, STL, and other C++ libraries. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.). Exposure to real-time systems, embedded Linux, or kernel development.
