Role: PeopleSoft Business Analyst with experience in Travel and Expense testing

Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Remote)

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills/Knowledge/Responsibilities

Perform functional unit and system testing of enhancements and functionality.

Responsible to use existing project artifacts/deliverables to create test conditions, identify test scenarios, write test scripts and prepare test data.

Meet with users, and subject matter experts to review and refine test scenarios and scripts

Responsible to independently create and execute system and integration test plans and test scripts, including documentation of test results, identification, documentation and resolution of test defects.

Responsible for documenting defects identified during testing, working with application development teams to resolve, and retest the defect until resolved

Answer client support questions via phone, email, and MS Teams.

Excellent Communication and Analytical skills

Excellent MS Office skills

Strong skills in Oracle SQL scripting desired.

Implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft Fluid Travel and Expense processes.

Detailed and thorough in creating functional documentation for changes and issue reporting.

Excellent verbal and written communication

Provide overall process assistance to the team

Strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities

Highly detail-oriented and in-depth knowledge of the various functionalities within the PeopleSoft Travel and Expense modules, including expense report creation, approval workflows, and expense reimbursement processes

Strong communicator and collaborator, able to effectively interact with users at all levels and provide clear and concise guidance

Strong knowledge in quality assurance and testing and provides advanced system testing support for the Travel and Expense module within PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 application, with a focus in the fluid travel and expense user interface.

The applicant will create testing and performance summary reports clearly communicating to management all testing results

The tester will help prioritize defects to be fixed using an understanding of the business requirements and the needs of the customer

Experience in analyzing test plans and test scenarios to validate that the requirements are met within the application and/or business processes.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience in PeopleSoft testing 3+ years

Strong understanding and knowledge of both the Fluid and Classic user interfaces for the PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM Travel and Expense module.

Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/Can perform quality testing and lead user acceptance testing using ALM. The functional tester will be able to write a test plan based upon requirements, develop test scripts, perform testing, and assist in the training of end users or testers and will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle.
