Candidates with prior experience at Capital One are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines to support our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Apache Spark. Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure efficient processing and storage. Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to meet data requirements. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security best practices. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering. Strong programming skills in Python. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing. Expertise in AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, etc.). Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, and data warehouse concepts. Prior experience at Capital One is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies. Understanding of machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
