This role is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing the Hogan core banking system, focusing on installment loan processing and related modules. Key Responsibilities: System Development & Maintenance: Design, code, test, and implement enhancements and modifications to the Hogan system, particularly within the Installment Loans (ILP) module. Diagnose and resolve production issues related to Hogan ILP processes, ensuring high availability and reliability of core banking functions. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for Hogan-related installment loan systems, resolving issues and performing root cause analysis for long-term stability. Collaborate with operations and support teams to implement incident and problem management practices for Hogan systems. Data Management & Analysis: Develop and manage data interfaces between Hogan and other internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and security. Perform data analysis on installment loan transactions, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver project updates, and ensure alignment with banking regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration projects, system upgrades, and new functionality within the Hogan ecosystem. Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, process flows, and system specifications. Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards, particularly around consumer lending and loan management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years of experience in Hogan IDS or ILP development within a financial services environment, preferably at a bank. Proven expertise in Hogan installment loans processing (ILP) and related modules. Experience with other mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS. Technical Skills: Proficient in Hogan development, troubleshooting, and system integration. Familiarity with data integration tools and APIs in banking environments. Knowledge of banking and regulatory standards related to consumer installment loans. Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Familiarity with additional core banking platforms and integration methods. Knowledge of security best practices in banking technology environments.
