Position Project Manager Alternative Investments Industry Location El Segundo, CA Duration Long-Term Contract Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage projects related to private equity, hedge funds, real estate investments, venture capital, and other alternative assets. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with investment teams, fund managers, and operational stakeholders to drive execution. Oversee project budgets, risks, and dependencies while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Implement Agile and Waterfall methodologies for efficient project execution. Communicate project status, risks, and updates to senior management and stakeholders. Drive process improvements in fund administration, reporting, and investment operations. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and external service providers. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in Alternative Investments. Strong understanding of private equity, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital, and other alternative assets. Expertise in project governance, risk management, and financial services regulations. Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers, or investment firms. Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Trello, etc.). Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience in fund administration, compliance, and investment technology platforms. Familiarity with Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) structures, reporting, and financial modeling. Knowledge of AI-driven investment analytics and data-driven decision-making.
