Title : Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Duration: 6-months to start with possible extension(s) Location: [Chicago Preferred] Typically remote but make sure theyre okay with being on-site if they need to be Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Azure and Azure DevOps. Proven experience in migrating project management workflows from Jira to Azure DevOps. Proven experience in migrating source control repositories from Bitbucket to Azure DevOps. Expert-level experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure environments. Experience with monitoring tools and solutions within Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights). Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles. Preferred Qualifications: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect). Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Power, Bash, Python) for automation and tooling. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly in a DevOps context.
