Title: System Admin Location: Remote with occasional on-site visits (Washington, DC) Duration: 12 Month Visa: GC and USC Need LinkedIn Job Description: Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator Position Title: LMS Administrator Location: Remote with occasional on-site visits (Washington, DC) Security Clearance: Background check required Salary: Competitive, based on experience Position Overview: We are seeking a Certified Cornerstone LMS Administrator to support the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in managing its eTrain2 Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS Administrator will oversee system functionality, user management, content maintenance, compliance reporting, and stakeholder training while ensuring alignment with federal training regulations (5 CFR Part 410). The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience managing a Cornerstone LMS in a government setting and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting, compliance reporting, and system optimization. --- Key Responsibilities: LMS Operations & Maintenance: Administer and maintain the FTCs eTrain2 LMS (Cornerstone platform), ensuring system availability and security. Apply software updates, patches, and system enhancements in coordination with FTC IT. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements. User & Course Management: Manage user roles, permissions, enrollments, and troubleshooting user access issues. Oversee course creation, publishing, and integration of third-party content. Ensure compliance training is properly assigned, tracked, and reported. Reporting & Compliance: Generate and analyze reports for training completion, compliance, and performance tracking. Ensure compliance with federal training regulations (5 U.S.C. 410.601). Review and update Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI) data for accuracy. Stakeholder Training & Vendor Coordination: Train FTC staff on LMS best practices, system navigation, and troubleshooting. Liaise with third-party training providers and government agencies to optimize training delivery. Provide strategic recommendations for LMS enhancements and e-learning innovations. Transition & Knowledge Transfer: Work with the incumbent LMS administrator for a seamless two-week transition. Develop documentation for continuity of operations and system handover. --- Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in IT, Education, HR, or a related field. 3+ years of Cornerstone LMS administration experience in a government setting. Cornerstone LMS certification or equivalent expert-level proficiency. Strong knowledge of federal training regulations (5 CFR Part 410). Experience in user support, troubleshooting, and system configuration. Other Qualifications: Experience working with government agencies (e.g., FTC, OPM, or similar). Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards. Strong analytical skills to interpret training data and generate reports. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
