From: Manish Kumar, scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Job type : Contract Role Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and oversight for large, complex transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter (V8-V9), strong performance tuning skills, and deep experience with Gosu, integration technologies, and API design. This role requires the ability to lead Guidewire implementations, provide guidance on best practices, and drive improvements in performance, automation, and integrations across the PolicyCenter tech stack. Key Responsibilities: PolicyCenter V8-V9 Expertise: Lead the development and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions with a focus on integrations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Integration Leadership: Provide guidance on complex integration solutions, particularly with Gosu, XML technologies (XSD, XPath), ETL, WMB, and API design. Performance Tuning: Oversee and optimize the performance of the PolicyCenter tech stack, particularly focusing on integration performance and system stability. Transformation Leadership: Serve as the technology leader in large, complex transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals. Technical Oversight: Establish, refine, and govern the PolicyCenter Tech Stack across the portfolio. Oversee all technical aspects of PolicyCenter implementation and upgrades. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex integration issues and offer solutions to maintain and optimize system performance. DevOps/Automation: Lead efforts in DevOps and Automation approaches to support initiatives in PolicyCenter, including A3 exercises. Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and consistent delivery of high-quality solutions. PolicyCenter Upgrades: Lead and oversee complex PolicyCenter upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and seamless transitions. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other systems (e.g., Guidewire BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Edge APIs). Competencies: Digital: Guidewire ClaimCenter Digital: Guidewire PolicyCenter Digital: Gosu Integration Business Domain: Insurance Digital: Guidewire BillingCenter Digital: Guidewire Edge APIs Experience: 10+ years of experience in Guidewire implementations, with a strong background in PolicyCenter, Gosu, and integrations. Essential Skills: Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter V8-V9, particularly in integrations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of GIT source code repository and build automation tools such as Concourse. Expertise in XML technologies (XSD, XPath) and their application in Guidewire environments. Extensive experience working with Batch processes, GX Modeling, and Workflows in PolicyCenter. Proven experience in leading Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and upgrades. Strong understanding of integration technologies, including ETL, WMB, API design, and DevOps/Automation. Ability to provide technical oversight and governance across PolicyCenter solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex integration issues across different systems and platforms. Experience with performance tuning, especially in integrations and handling large volumes of data in PolicyCenter. Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with expertise in Rating, BillingCenter, and Edge APIs. Desirable Skills: Guidewire Edge API development experience. Guidewire BillingCenter Developer Certification. Experience leading complex transformations in the insurance or telecom industry. Knowledge of iterative development processes and Agile methodologies. Advanced expertise in API design and integration. Experience with DevOps/Automation practices and tools in PolicyCenter. Additional Qualifications: Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities in large-scale technical environments. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
