Position Responsibilities: Design and implement IT systems, including virtualization, networking, firewall, phone, storage, backup, and load balancer systems Determine business needs and design systems for high availability and low recovery points Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Ensure hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) are secure, reliable, and compliant with CIS controls Monitor and maintain system performance and availability, including cloud services Implement infrastructure upgrades and system changes with minimal business disruption Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements Provide technical expertise to support IT projects and hybrid environments Perform regular cloud security audits and ensure compliance with company policies Manage firewalls, switches, and routers to support hybrid connectivity Configure and monitor Azure Backup for cloud-based workloads Maintain and test disaster recovery plans for both on-premises and cloud environments Document system configurations and incident responses Provide monthly performance and usage reports for Azure and Office 365 Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience with firewall and switch configuration and routing Minimum of 5 years of experience with virtualization technologies Strong understanding of network fundamentals like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC Tunnels, NAT, etc. Experience with Debian/Ubuntu OS and Windows Server systems Preferred: Experience with HAProxy load balancers, VMWare vSphere 8, Palo Alto, Dell OS10, Aruba CX, VMWare Horizon VDI, Pure Storage, Rubrik, Veeam, Zabbix, and Datadog Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to repetitively use hands to handle, control, or feel objects and/or keyboards. Must be able to clearly articulate information to internal and external customers so that they by understand the information being communicated. Must be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Must be able to lift up to 35 points at times.
