Work involves coordinating the planning and initiation of projects at various levels of completion; monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and communicating with project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties. May assign duties and responsibilities and coordinate the work of project staff. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Minimum Requirements: Experience in project management in relevant areas of project assignment Knowledge of PM theories, practices applicable to projects that are complex in scope; systems, procedures used to evaluate third-party vendors performance; local, state, federal laws, regulations relevant to the administration of the project undertaken. Skill in project management monitoring, addressing changes in scope or timing, and the use of a computer and applicable software Manage project-establish goal-objective-make critical decision/judgment-analyze complex info-develop plan-identify issue-negotiate-facilitate skills identify risk/gap-prepare report-communicate effective-assign duty-responsibility-coordinate project staff Experience working in an IT technical operations or development environment with the creation and management of highly detailed actions, tasks, and schedules. Experience supporting, planning and implementing contingency plans, recovery guides or disaster recovery documentation for information technology systems.
