The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, ensuring the successful validation of banking applications and systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage UAT activities for core banking system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications. Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to define test objectives and ensure end-to-end test coverage. Coordinate and facilitate UAT execution, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business needs. Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with development teams for resolution. Provide test progress reports and defect status updates to project stakeholders. Ensure adherence to banking regulatory requirements and compliance standards during UAT testing. Perform risk assessment and impact analysis for defects and system changes. Guide and support business users and testers during the UAT execution phase. Assist in the preparation of UAT entry and exit criteria, sign-off processes, and post-implementation validation. Required Qualifications & Skills: 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in UAT testing for core banking systems. Strong knowledge of banking products and services such as loans, deposits, payments, account management, and financial transactions. Experience in leading UAT teams and working with business stakeholders to validate system functionalities. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test automation tools (if applicable), and defect tracking systems. Knowledge of banking regulatory compliance and financial risk management considerations. Ability to analyze business requirements, detect inconsistencies, and propose improvements. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, FIS, or similar. Certification in ISTQB, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or Agile Testing. Experience in test automation frameworks related to banking applications. Prior experience working in a banking or financial services domain with exposure to digital banking, payments, or treasury operations.
