http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=223102&uid= From: sandeep, dewsoftech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Hyperconverged Solutions vxRail Architect/Engineer Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid) Duration: 8 months, possibility to renew Interview: Video The resource(s) covered under this SO will support the: Configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for the Police Departments VXrail clusters and On-Prem backup infrastructure in the 1234M and PPSB data center which include VMware instances, NSX instances, ESXI nodes, Data Domain appliances, and Avamar backup platforms. Position overview / Statement of Work In this role the individual will support and assist the PPD platform engineering team in effectively overseeing configuration and maintenance of all vxRail HyperConverged hardware assets, within a framework of industry standards. This includes security regulations (CJIS/NIST), ITIL, AGILE best practices, and strategic IT principles and policy guidelines. They will troubleshoot and resolve critical operations issues across Police Department environments at the PPSB (400 N Broad) and Enterprise (1234M) data centers. This individual is expected to take proactive steps to manage capacity and performance across vmWare systems, as well incident response. Additionally, the individual will work with the team to help develop and document systems, operation workflows, and their support models. Part of this role also requires working with the IT Architect to develop a comprehensive backup model for all applications, systems, and programs housed within the environment. The individual must be able to provide technical subject matter expertise, be able to understand complex vxRail, vmWare, and network related issues and provide clear solutions. In addition, the individual is expected to adhere to change/problem and incident management processes, and to transfer knowledge to the existing platform engineering staff. Work activities: Implement solutions based on current industry standards and best practices Install, configure, and administer Dell vxRail and related technologies Install, configure, and manage hyperconverged technologies and environments Troubleshoot storage, network, and compute issues through problem resolution Engineer new hyperconverged/software defined storage solutions to meet the enterprise standards and requirements Adhere to established processes related to Change/Problem/Incident Management Install, configure, and manage components for NSX and any related VMware software-based networking features Skills/experience of the assigned staff: Required Ability to work effectively as a team lead; collaboration and leadership skills are key 3 plus years of experience in system integration, designing, building, and administering hyperconverged environments, disaster recovery, data protection solutions, and troubleshooting Networking and security within a hyperconverged environment, including SAN and NAS protocols Vmware VCP certification and related, i.e. vSphere/ESXi, vSan, NSX NSX Experience Experience with Dell EMC storage infrastructure solutions and their related technologies, i.e.: HCI, and HCI based appliances Current experience with DellEMC vxRail backup technologies, i.e. Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection (IDPA) software, i.e. DellEMC Data Domain; i.e. DellEMC Avamar; and hardware Cloud architecture experience, i.e. AWS and Azure Experience managing storage networks and appliances Highly Desired/Preferred Current Juniper Network technologies experience Automation experience Database performance optimization experience Thanks Keywords: information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=223102&uid= |
