The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable microservices-based solutions while ensuring seamless integration with cloud technologies. This is a fully on-site position, requiring the candidate to work 5 days a week from our New Jersey office. Key Responsibilities: Microservices Development: Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks). Cloud Integration: Implement solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), including services like EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions, and Kubernetes. API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs for secure and efficient communication between microservices. Database Management: Work with relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. CI/CD Pipeline: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools to ensure application performance and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and cloud architects, to deliver high-quality solutions. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on microservices architecture. Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) or Azure (App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.). Frameworks: Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar Java frameworks. APIs: Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git). Databases: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Tools: Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (Logstash, ELK Stack). Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
