From: Sankhi, Vyze Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Powertrain Calibration Engineer Location: South M-52, Chelsea, MI (Onsite) Duration: 6+ months MOI: MS Teams Video Interview Description: OBD Gasflow Calibration Engineer Developing and implementing best practice calibration solutions and performing diagnostic verification testing. The Engine OBD Calibration Engineer will manage all technical aspects of the OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations, identify system requirements during system hardware design to insure a robust diagnostic system, and use standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition, storage, and analysis. They will calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations, develop and track calibration solutions that meet system functional objectives, identify system requirements during system hardware design to insure a robust diagnostic system. Utilizing a multi-functional tool chain, requiring familiarity with; Stellantis in-house developed calibration tools -- I-Box, DC Plot & HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testers Industry standard calibration tools (ETAS INCA, MatLab, CANalyzer) Provide regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments, including timing projections. The candidate should expect to travel 4 - 8 weeks throughout the year for system validation/verification. In site position, not remote. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent from an ABET accredited university 2 Years or more experience in Powertrain systems calibration development, OBD calibration on spark ignition engines Knowledge of internal combustion engines Working knowledge of calibration tools (INCA /ATI), emissions regulations, and powertrain technologies. Fundamental knowledge in MatLab / Simulink Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to upper management Onsite CPG - anywhere from 3-5 days a week.
