Desirable experience in Visual Basic 6, vb.net, c#.net, MSOffice Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, Stored Procedures for MySQL/MSSQL. Oracle Database, MySQL, MSSQL, Access DB Experience in a manufacturing environment. Possess a strong team orientation Requirements: The goal for the coming year to redesign and rewrite legacy applications that have been developed and implemented at the customer site over the past 15 -20 years and implement new application required by the Client Manufacturing Operation. The above IT resource must be knowledgeable of and experienced using VB.net in a client/server environment interacting with various database platforms. Deliverables: Re write existing programs to .NET and over 70+ VB programs running on Job Server, Convert Access DB to MySQL. Maintain current applications, break/fixes, and enhancements.
