DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Texas Education Agency requires the services of 2 Developer/Programmer Analyst3. This Senior role perform advanced analysis involving all aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing the database and reports for a large project. This position requires strong SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedure skills. The worker will also devise approaches to solving complex problems, provide thought leadership, manage project scope, and provide ongoing updates on project status. The worker will also need to exhibit a high level of skill in data aggregation and analysis. This position works for section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology Statewide Education Data System). Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases. This role works across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of created reports, in the service of Texass 1200 school districts. Database and Jasper Reports Development Documentation Bugs: Core and PEIMS projects Dev/Unit Testing Participate in Agile development II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Skill in designing, coding and supporting using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 8 Required Jasper Reports Development 8 Required Unit Testing 8 Required Agile 5 Preferred Knowledge of JIRA/Bitubucket III. TERMS OF SERVICE Services are expected to start 04/16/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 872 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing. IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Education Agency. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
