This role requires deep technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across security and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day security analysis and support vulnerability management initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert on z/OS ACF2 and TSS, providing guidance on security controls and best practices. Assist with asset modeling, security hardening, and documentation as needed. Train and support client staff on vulnerability management tools and security processes. Establish z/OS hardening standards, security controls, and remediation strategies. Collaborate with mainframe engineering and information security teams to improve security posture. Required Skills & Experience: 7-10 years of experience with zSecure Audit for security assessments. Extensive hands-on experience with z/OS ACF2 and TSS (priority focus). Strong knowledge of z/OS RACF STIG and hardening techniques. Proficiency in Mainframe REXX, IBM SYNC SORT, and ICETOOL. Preferred: Background in z/OS security consulting or penetration testing. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) with 15+ years in Mainframe Security.
