Job Description - IT - Risk Specialist Sr Niche 6 months Location: Tech hubs Phoenix, AZ- 3 days in office - hybrid Which project will this need be supporting This backfill request is being submitted to ensure the TIM has proper coverage to effectively manage the issues pipeline for Technology. Due to the high number of issues currently in the pipeline, which is an overall increase compared to previous year, and the multiple resources changes the TIM has experienced, an additional resource to assist with the review of Technology issues and communication with key issue stakeholder be of great benefit to the TIM team Organizational Structure And Impact: Impact this role has within the bank/LOB: mitigating risk Function the group supports from an LOB perspective: Technology risk Team Background and Preferred Candidate History: Industry background the team is comprised: diverse industry background: Technology and risk background required Key responsibilities: Executes the Technology Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables Technology and Line of Business adherence with Technology risk management programs. Supports execution of the Technology risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of technology controls for specific technology risk management program components. Executes the technology risk management programs within or across Technology and the Lines of Business (e.g. Technology and Line of Business risk and control self-assessments and technology quality assurance reviews). May lead cross functional teams. Provides Technology risk expertise while working with Technology teams, subsidiaries and the Lines of Businesses, and other risk partners (e.g., Independent Risk Management, Compliance, Audit). Leads or influences technology risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.
