WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Validate applications and APIs that provide historical access to data. Write and execute automated test suites against multiple projects in Agile environment. Validate multiple projects sourcing data from data sources including IBM DB2, Amazon S3, transform as per provided business rules or data mappings, and loading into target databases/services including DB2, Amazon S3, AWS EMR, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon RDS. Validate data platform reports for accuracy and look and feel. Participate in daily Scrum standups. Update task status in Jira. II. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One year working on IT projects, with focus on validation of web applications and APIs. Experience with testing of React JS web applications is a strong plus. Familiarity in automation tools such as Selenium is a plus Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, various data management systems Scripting knowledge using Shell scripting, Python, or equivalent Capable of using various automation frameworks to write and execute tests Experience with DevOps process (exposure to GitHub, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools) and knowledge and experience with Terraform and Ansible Exposure to AWS cloud-based services is a strong plus. Exposure to Kafka Streaming applications is a plus. Exposure to source code management tools such as SVN or Git is a plus. Strong verbal/written communication skills. Ability to interact with developers and business users and to develop positive working relationships.
