Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA (Remote) West Coast candidates Only Top 3 skill required : CCNP Aruba Must have recent Healthcare/Hospital industry need healthcare, ideally hospital recently. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Cisco and Aruba network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize reliability and security. Maintain and configure Cisco and Aruba routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure compliance with network security policies, including firewalls, access controls, and threat management. Conduct regular network assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend enhancements. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new technologies and support enterprise-wide projects. Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory records. Provide Level 2 and 3 support for escalated network issues. Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network incidents as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification required; Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Cisco and Aruba networking. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and network security best practices. Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, Meraki, and Aruba security appliances. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Cisco Prime. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN technologies. Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and wireless networking. Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Python for network management. ITIL certification is a plus.
