Manages third-party vendor and leads, directs, and utilizes knowledge on best practices in areas related to traffic networking, data, traffic device hardware, and traffic applications. Evaluates traffic technologies for potential acquisition and directs the evaluation of various hardware and software resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits to the agency. Manages and establishes priorities for maintenance, design, development, and analysis of traffic network systems. Supports and troubleshoots with network team on large network outages. Conducts and recommends changes in services, products, protocols, and standards to support development efforts and traffic procurements.
