The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, 3rd party consultants, and development teams to define, document, and drive business requirements, as well as manage key aspects of project execution. This role requires a blend of business analysis and project management expertise, along with hands-on experience in ETRM platforms and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of business and user requirements. Work closely with Product Owners and business users to conduct discovery and analysis of product features, identifying gaps and recommending solutions. Perform in-depth functional analysis of digital platforms, assessing current and target features to optimize ETRM functionality. Ensure accurate documentation of requirements, process flows, and functional specifications that guide development teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business acceptance and successful implementation of solutions. Product Management: Lead Agile Scrum teams in delivering ETRM solutions on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. Assist with project planning, coordinating resources, managing schedules, and ensuring deliverables are met. Oversee the Backlog of project tasks, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and aligned with business needs. Facilitate the scoping and estimation of features, coordinating team efforts to meet project milestones. Review progress regularly, evaluating results for accuracy and efficiency, and driving the team toward business outcomes. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Foster partnerships across internal teams, external customers, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions, ensuring timely updates and prioritization of tasks in Jira. Maintain project documentation repositories, ensuring the accuracy of all project deliverables and status updates. Key Activities & Tasks: Conduct functional analysis to assess current and target features of the ETRM digital platform. Research technical systems and business processes to identify functionality gaps and propose solutions. Work with Scrum teams to create and refine User Stories for efficient development. Assist in User Story Backlog maintenance, ensuring that tasks are up-to-date and groomed. Facilitate story creation and ensure the inclusion of all necessary details for effective team collaboration. Regularly evaluate project progress, adjusting plans and priorities as necessary to achieve business goals. Education & Experience: Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred: Masters degree in a relevant discipline. 8+ years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis and Product Management, with a strong focus on ETRM systems and platforms. Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Solid experience in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM), with a deep understanding of the systems and processes in the energy sector. Strong project management skills, with experience in scheduling, resource management, and driving deliverables. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams toward achieving business objectives. Knowledge of QA testing and business analysis methodologies. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
