Position: Juniper Firewalls Engineer Location: Burlingame, CA (South San Francisco) SF Airport is looking for a Juniper Firewalls Engineer to complete upgrade to 400g network to Client network infrastructure. Job requires working with multiple teams, vendors, and phases and operating in a highly sensitive environment that requires minimizing disruption to critical operations. The work is daily on-site in Burlingame CA and night work during maintenance periods. This is a 2 year contract. Experience: The Resident Engineer must have 5 years verifiable experience in the following: Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing EVPN/MPLS with Paragon Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN/MPLS network Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing EVPN/VXLAN with Apstra Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN/VXLAN Fabric Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN/VXLAN Fabric DCIs Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing Junipers MX, QFX, EX, SRX routers, firewalls, and switches. The Engineer should have knowledge of SRX series firewall, Juniper MX series routers, Juniper ACX series, and Juniper EX series switches. Engineer must have expertise to install, implement, configure, and migrate from legacy Equipment. Scope of Work: Deployment and Onboarding of MX10004, 7100, 4400 MX304 and QFX XMPOE location Site #2 SMPOE. Configuration, preparation, and local testing. Deployment and Onboarding of MX10004, 7100, 4400, MX304 and QFX XMPOE location Site #3 NMPOE. Configuration, preparation, and local testing. Universal Testing of Site #2 and Site #3. Assess and advise test plan to ensure end-to-end success, including internet edge. Migration cutover from legacy to new network according to MOP.
