Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS to support data integration needs. - Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data solutions. - Develop and enforce database best practices and standards to ensure data integrity and security. - Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures. - Mentor and guide junior team members in SQL Server and SSIS best practices. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations and ETL processes. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Monitor and manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. - Implement data migration and transformation solutions to support business initiatives. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of database and ETL processes.
