From: Manish Kumar, Scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Talend Data Engineering Architect Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) Job Type: ContractKey Responsibilities: Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to understand the current state, future needs, and develop comprehensive data engineering solutions. Conduct discovery sessions with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and recommend the appropriate architectural models and designs. Design end-to-end batch processes after reverse engineering current mainframe-based batch processes. Lead Talend ETL development, ensuring the sustainable movement and transformation of data for the Customer Master and related data testing. Ensure alignment of solutions with customer enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Provide technical leadership in the development and deployment of Talend-based data integration solutions. Validate the alignment of solutions with business and compliance requirements, ensuring that the developed solutions meet the required standards and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, transformation, and ETL processes.Required Experience and Skills: 12+ years of relevant experience in ETL, data integration, and data engineering. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend (Design, Development, Deployment). Expertise in Talend Open Studio for Data Integration, and experience in designing and developing mappings, transformations, sessions, and workflows. Experience with designing batch solutions using Qlik Replicate. Proficient in ETL methodologies, including Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) using Talend. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and experience working in Agile teams. Exposure to Mainframe systems and databases like DB2. Experience with Databricks is desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with development teams, business analysts, and project managers effectively. Talend certification is highly desirable.Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Qlik Replicate for batch solution design. Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally with stakeholders. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Competencies: Digital Competencies: Talend Open Studio, Solution, and Functional Architect (SAFA) Strong understanding of data architecture and best practices in data engineering.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
