From: Manish Kumar, Scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - Cognos & Power BI Location: Dublin, OH (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement BI solutions including complex reports, dashboards, visualizations, cubes, and metadata models using IBM Cognos Analytics and Power BI. Develop business reports for Warehouse Management Systems, with a strong focus on projects related to Manhattan Active WMS. Leverage SCI packages (preferably Manhattan Active WMS) to identify and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity and performance challenges. Provide insightful analysis and present complex data findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner. Write SQL queries, including the development of stored procedures, to support data retrieval and manipulation for reports. Optimize performance of reports and dashboards in Power BI and IBM Cognos, identifying and resolving any issues impacting performance. Respond to and support Ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting as needed by stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.Required Experience and Skills: 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development, with a strong focus on IBM Cognos Analytics and Power BI. Extensive experience in developing reports and dashboards specifically for Warehouse Management Systems, with preference for experience in Manhattan Active WMS. Strong SQL skills, including experience with stored procedures, for data manipulation and reporting. Proven ability to develop complex analyses and present them in a manner that influences and informs senior leadership. Proficient in creating impactful dashboards and reports in Power BI and IBM Cognos. Strong understanding of SCI packages and troubleshooting connectivity issues in the context of WMS. Ability to identify performance issues in reports and take proactive steps to optimize them. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with different teams and clearly convey complex information. Ability to handle Ad-hoc requests and provide timely, accurate data analysis.Desirable Skills: In-depth experience with Manhattan Associates Scale WMS and Active WMS. Experience with PLSQL in addition to SQL for database management and reporting. Strong ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level, engaging in all aspects of the analytics process, including discovery, tagging/tracking, optimization, and analysis. Experience in retail business management and understanding of business operations principles in a retail environment. Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage time to deliver quality results in a rapidly changing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize BI processes.Competencies: Digital Competencies: IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Strong communication and teamwork skills. Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field (Master's preferred). Proven expertise in Cognos Report Development and supporting Adhoc User Requests.
