From: Manish Kumar, Scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Identity and Access Management Administrator Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Role Description: Key Responsibilities: IAM Administration & Optimization: Administer and optimize identity and access management solutions with a primary focus on IAM platforms. Role-based Access Control (RBAC): Configure and manage user identities, roles, and access permissions across various IAM platforms using Role-based Access Control (RBAC) principles. Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and implement IAM policies and procedures to enhance security and ensure compliance with industry standards. Automation & Integration: Design, develop, and implement automation processes for managing identities and access across a variety of applications and tools using scripting languages, REST APIs, Webhooks, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT). Project Management & Leadership: Lead IAM projects from inception to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement identity solutions and integrations. Risk & Security Monitoring: Monitor and analyze IAM systems for potential security risks and perform regular audits to ensure the integrity of identity management systems. End-User Support & Guidance: Provide guidance and support to end-users on IAM tools, best practices, and troubleshooting. Collaboration with Security Teams: Work closely with security teams to align IAM strategies with overall security frameworks and objectives. Stay Current with IAM Technologies: Keep up-to-date with advancements in IAM technologies, security protocols, and industry trends to ensure best practices. Required Experience and Skills: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a strong understanding of IAM concepts and security protocols such as SAML, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, MFA, FIDO2, risk-based authentication, and session management. Strong experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and scripting/automation tools to enhance IAM processes. Proven ability to administer and optimize IAM solutions, manage user identities, and apply Role-based Access Control (RBAC) across various IAM platforms. Strong background in IAM policies, security compliance, and implementation of security best practices. Project management skills with the ability to lead IAM initiatives from inception to completion. Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI, SOC2, SOX, and FedRAMP. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments. Desirable Skills: Experience with other identity platforms, such as Microsoft Entra ID or SailPoint, is a plus. Okta Certified Administrator or similar IAM certifications. Knowledge of additional security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., PCI, SOC2, SOX, FedRAMP) is a plus. Experience with ActiveMQ and related messaging services. Competencies: Digital Competencies: Microsoft IAM, Identity Management, SAML, OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, MFA, FIDO2, RBAC, Security Protocols Strong project management and leadership abilities. Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Okta Certified Administrator or similar IAM certifications (preferred).
